    New site

    Tuesday, October 2, 2007, 08:23 PM [General]

I've been off line for a while due to changing ISP, and an illness but I'm back now. I'm sending this to invite everyone to check out my new web site called

    http://radicalpagan.com.

During my druidic studies I have found that there is a lot of disinformation on the net about every pagan path known to man. After talking to several friends that I feel are very knowledgeable and are good examples of their chosen paths I have decided to build a site that is about learning and teaching the different paths, that I hope will dispel the BS and give travelers good information.

I'm also looking for contributors and moderators for the site, so if your interested come check out the site.

    The Christian Report #9

    Monday, August 27, 2007, 10:58 PM [General]

My friends, abortion is not alone among the manifestations of the neo-pagan culture of death. The forces of assisted suicide and euthanasia are abroad in our land offering death as the remedy of life's hardships and tragedies. And it is not only the frail elderly and terminally ill who are to be afforded their ghoulish "compassion." Those who offend our sensibilities, who place demands upon our care and resources - the seriously handicapped, the mentally retarded - are now to be defined out of the category of human "persons" whose right to life is to be respected and protected by law. Notable academics now openly embrace the cause of infanticide of handicapped newborns. They would revise our fundamental law to have us treat these precious children as inferior beings, human nonpersons. Ladies and gentlemen, we have been down this road before. The Nazi killing began with the eugenic murder of the handicapped. The way was paved by "sophisticated," "progressive" doctors and lawyers, such as Binding and Hoche - not themselves Nazis - who, having abandoned the sanctity of life principles of Jewish and Christian faith, devised the neo-pagan doctrine of leben unswert leben. To those who would today revive this vile notion in the name of a false compassion, let us say with all our hearts, "Never again"! "Never again"!

The above quote was copied from an article written by Robert P. George is McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence and Director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University. It was published by the Catholic Education Resource Center.

Now I'm not a professor at a renowned university with a overly long title that probably no one outside of academia has the slightest idea of what it means or for that matter even cares about. I have not been published in any note worthy professional journal, my views are only seen right here on Covenspace, I am not but a simple Druid. That being said I would like to say that as fare as I know there are no pagan owned abortion clinics run by junior Mengele want-a-bes dressed in jackboots sporting Nazi armbands. If this so called intelligent professor had any idea as to what it means to be Pagan, he would know that Pagans honor life in all its forms and incarnations and that we would not try to block the path of any life form no matter how deformed, old or infirmed. Each life has a path to walk and we have no right to interfere with that journey. I will go out on a limb here and state that I bet the majority of abortion clinics are owned and operated by Christian and Jewish doctors for the sole purpose of making money. If abortion clinics were not profitable there would not be any. Again making money at all cost, is not a Pagan principle, that is a teaching of Christianity and Judaism.

If you care to read the whole article click the link http://www.catholiceducation.org/articles/religion/re0443.html

If you feel so moved to contact the good professor here is his e-mail, just to let him know how much you enjoyed his article rgeorge@princeton.edu

Christian TV Show out, Muslim pressure group blamed.(click link to read)

You might be wondering why I would care about a Christian TV show being taken off the air, in light of my other posts in this blog. You are probably thinking I should be happy about this. Well normally I would be happy, but what concerns me is why it was taken off the air. When a company as big a CBS knuckles under to the Council on American-Islamic Relations a Muslim group that has reported ties to Hamas(One of the biggest Islamic terrorist groups in the world), the local chapter claimed they were offended by the show, we all should be concerned for several very important reasons. The first being FREEDOM OF SPEECH . I do not care for the Christian way of doing things but I would not try to silence them, I state my opinions backed up by fact in this blog, if you don't like what I have to say don't read it, just as I don't watch Christian television. We have these rights as Americans. Secondly, when giant American corporations start cow towing to foreign radical religious groups, that is a victory for terrorism and gives them the momentum to try and further their campaign of hate and intolerance. For a group such as CAIR to have the power to dictate what I watch on TV is not acceptable. What is surprising to me is that CBS did what they did, just due to the fact about who is running this company. CEO Leslie Moonves is Jewish, and we all know how the Jews feel about Hamas, Sumner Redstone Executive Chairman and Founder is Jewish, Shari Redstone Vice Chairman of the Board, daughter of Sumner Redstone and the list goes on. This company is run by former advisers to the president, former Senators, former State Representatives, a former Secretary of Defense, former CEO of the NAACP. What are these people thinking? I bet if the Pagan community tried to dictate policy to an American company like CBS we would get told to go jump off our brooms, if we received a reply at all and I bet the majority of Pagans in America were born and raised here.

Even if the ties to Hamas are only implied the perceived threat of violence was enough to bring CBS to its corporate knees. They know what happens to people that piss off Muslims(oops I should of said Radical Muslims, damn I keep forgetting to be PC), they get beheaded, bombed, tortured or killed. If you piss off normal, nice, peaceful, cute and cuddly Muslims they just take away your TV.

Well I like my head right were its at, thank you very much, keep those dull sabers away from my neck please. My neighbors would probably be just a little inconvenienced if my apartment got bombed and I enjoy watching Charmed and reruns of Bewitched so please oh please do not mess with my TV. IF I have inadvertently offended any Muslims by what I have written in this blog, send me an e-mail to Druidoak@neo.rr.com and I will arrange to meet you in person to apologize, do not mind the dirk or the long staff they are just part of my Druidic attire and are just for show.

See I promised to get around to our Islamic friends and a Druid always keeps his word.

Mountain Meadows Massacre, has anyone ever heard of this?

I never had until tonight. A movie is coming out called "September Dawn" which is supposed to be about the Massacre of 120 American settlers bound for California. So just doing some quick researching on the net I found out a little about what happened. The 120(there were 137 but 17 children were spared) were on the Spanish Trail, the rout most used to travel to California, part of it goes through Utah. I want to stop a moment and share my thoughts to this point. Ok I thought settlers, covered wagons, the trip west, a massacre, the year 1857. Ok it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that some tribe of Indians did it. Well I was wrong and boy was I surprised to find out who committed this heinous act. Well gentle Pagans a tribe called the Paiutes had a small part in it, but the main driving force was (drum roll please) the Mormons!!!!!!!!!!! Yes boys and girls the oh so peaceful, Jesus Christ will save you, come to beautiful Utah and be part of our Christian family, the Mormon's. One thought about why they did it seems to be it was retribution for Mormon persecution back east. It seems that back in the old days people were less PC than they are today and if someone did not like being thumped or(I'll try a little PC here) be proselytized too, they beat up or worse killed the afore mentioned thumper. So the Mormons lead by Mormon Bishop John D. Lee(the only one punished for this crime, he has executed in 1877) and Brigham Young himself felt they were justified in doing the massacre. If you want to know more look it up and draw your own conclusions. But me being me I'm going to share some of mine.

I have to ask a question. Why was I not taught about this in American history class? We learned about Custer, at least from the white mans ie. Christian point of view, we learned about all the wars, the Gold Rush and other interesting stuff but not a thing about the Mountain Meadows Massacre. I guess that fell into the category of stuff Christians don't want people to know about, like the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, the genocide of the Celts and the fact that Hitler was Christian( the last fact was left out of my WWII history class by the way). Ok you might say hey that happened 150 years ago(WWII was only 70 years ago, Hitler was Christian and the Vatican's roll in the war did not leave them with clean hands) but that kind of blows a hole in the whole we are a peaceful religion story, it seems "Thou shalt not kill" does not mean to much it should read "Thou shalt not kill Christians, but its ok for us to kill you, if you do not believe in our religion". Look at what we have today, Pat Robertson calling for the assassination of an other countries president, Jessie Jackson and other black Christian leaders preaching hate, the Catholic's have a Pope that was part of the Nazi party and the leader of the Catholic sect that ran the Inquisition and we have a Mormon trying to run for president.

The last thing about the movie, those against the movie say the writer is trying to compare Mormons to Islam and Pagans. Damn if we don't get dragged into every pile of dirty laundry the Christians have.
